Hoss
Here she is, already hard at work.
Here are some pics of my new-to-me 1994 F-350 crew cab, DRW, 5spd POWERSTROKE!!!. I bought the truck not running for $1500. The man I bought the truck fropm said it had sit for a year or so before he drove it last and it was running fine until he switched tanks then it died. So I am assuming the fule selector valve is bad or just stuck so that is where I will start. If that's the case I will have $1550 invested in a $6000 truck!!!. Future mods will start with a 3" down pipe and 3" exhaust. Then get a high flow intake and a set of guages to include EGT's and boost that will be mounted in a pillar pod that I am thinking of fabracating myself.
Got my first set of mods!!!! Got a set of 4" stacks from a trucker buddy of mine. Got a set of boost, pyro, and temp guages and am working on building a pillar pod. Also picked up a spare cam position sensor, pair of silver star headlights and a few little items the truck needs.
Now I just gotta get everything transfered out of the beast and into the new ride (hmmm, it's needs a name). Gotta get the tool box, headache rack, trailer brake controler, stereo, speakers, gooseneck ball and fifth wheel hitch all mounted in the new ride!!!!!
UPDATE: Well I got her home and after some testing narowed it down to the fuel supply pump. On the PSD's they put the fuel pump in the bottom of the intake valley and let me tell ya they are a PITA to get to and replace. But i got it done and after draining the tank and getting some fresh fuel in it I gave it a shot of WD-40 and she fired up!!!!! WWWHHHHOOOOOO HHHHOOOOOO!!!!
UPDATE: Finally got around to putting new tires on her. Decided to run a set of Hercules radial ribs on the front and radial A/T's on the rear. We use these at work and they wear VERY well and seem to handle great. Also found that it is going to need a set of valve cover gaskets and i think that if I'm gonna be that deep into her i might as well replace the injector o-rings, injector harness and probly put a new set of glow plugs in it before it starts to get cold.
Keep checking back for updates
